On January 2nd, Rupantor ICT Lab celebrated the culmination of hard work and dedication with a special gathering for the September-December 2024 semester graduates at the Municipality Hall in Madaripur. The event saw the participation of approximately 150 students, esteemed guests from the municipality, the District Children’s Affairs Officer, and a board member from the Sanabil Foundation USA. As a co-founder of ACT Foundation, it was heartwarming to witness the fruits of our collaborative efforts.
This annual event, consistently held during the first week of January over the last three years, offers a unique opportunity to personally meet the graduates. These interactions are not just ceremonial but a chance to engage in meaningful dialogues about enhancing the quality of education at Rupantor ICT Lab. Each conversation with a graduate provides insights into how we can better tailor our initiatives to meet their evolving needs.
The gathering is more than a celebration; it’s a critical touchpoint for feedback. Graduates share their experiences and suggest improvements, contributing to a continual refinement of our curriculum and teaching methods. It’s an exhilarating experience to discuss the lab’s future plans and see the direct impact of our work on the lives of young individuals.
Community involvement in these gatherings adds another layer of richness. Local community members join us, which helps bridge the gap between the lab’s activities and community awareness. Their presence underscores the broader impact of the lab’s achievements and challenges, fostering a stronger community bond.
Each year, as I interact with a new batch of skilled individuals ready to step into the world, my commitment to this cause deepens. The energy and optimism of the graduates are contagious, leaving me refreshed, recharged, and more motivated than ever to push the boundaries of what we can achieve at Rupantor ICT Lab.
This annual gathering is a testament to the power of education and community support in shaping the future of our youth and by extension, our community at large. It’s a reaffirmation that together, we are crafting a legacy of empowerment through education.
