“As a man thinketh” by James Allen. I picked this book from a book store of Delhi airport on the last December when I was heading towards Nepal during my solo trip “Unishe Istiaque”. I picked a few books, a magazine and a diary from there as I had a couple of hours to fly for Kathmandu. Then I parked this book in my reading list since I was reading another book “Finish what you start” by Peter Hollins.
So many nights, weekends and the lazy afternoon passed away by this time and, I could not fix my eyes and mind on it. Yesterday, when I was searching for a copy of my MBA internship report in my bookshelf, which I kept there 4 years back. Suddenly, James Allen looked at me with a smile, and I became numb. Hahaha!
Just finished the book. Intentionally, I’m avoiding to write a review of this book; instead, I’m telling stories are associated with this book. Here, I’m mentioning a few lines from this book. I’m sure these lines are enough to represent what this book is about.

“Circumstance doesn’t make the man; it reveals him to himself. Men don’t attract that which they want, but that which they are. Good thoughts and actions never produce bad results; bad thoughts and actions can never produce good results. A person is limited only by his thoughts that he chooses. Suffering is always the effect of wrong thought in some direction. He who has conquered doubt and fear has conquered failure. His every thought is allied with power, and all difficulties are bravely met and wisely overcome.”
Can you think of a single moment in the whole day when your mind is blank and thoughtless? Do you know how powerful every thought is? Do you? Don’t look at this screen anymore instead ask yourself, talk to your soul.
It was a good read. Okay, take care. Have a good night, good morning and good day!
